SIFE is a link between business and higher education that prepares the next generation of entrepreneurs for their careers. SIFE’s worldwide network consists of business executives, both college and university students, as well as academic leaders. SIFE teams are developed to serve their communities through projects that take learning outside of the classroom and place it into practice: solving real problems, creating leaders, and bettering our world.
Each SIFE team is required to fulfill the following criteria through the efforts of their projects as a whole:
SIFE teams are run by students with the oversight of a faculty advisory, as well as the support of their school and national SIFE mentors. SIFE teams present annually on their accomplishments at a regional final, national final and world cup final depending on team standings. Skills learned from tasks completed cultivate business professionals from students while still in the classroom.
